What Is Spravato™?
Spravato™ (esketamine) is an FDA-approved prescription nasal spray for adults with treatment-resistant depression, used together with an oral antidepressant. Each dose is taken in our office under the supervision of a healthcare professional at our certified Spravato™ treatment center.
What to Know About Spravato™ Treatment

How quickly it works: In clinical studies, some adults noticed their symptoms improving sooner than is typical with oral antidepressants alone. Results vary from person to person, and your provider will track your progress with you.

FDA-approved: Spravato™ is approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for adults with treatment-resistant depression.

Side effects and monitoring: Like any medication, Spravato™ can cause side effects. The most common are dizziness, nausea, sleepiness, feeling disconnected, and a short-term rise in blood pressure. You stay in our office to be monitored for at least two hours after each dose, and you will need someone else to drive you home.

Insurance: Many insurance plans cover Spravato™, usually with prior authorization. We'll help you check your coverage and handle the authorization process.
