What to Expect in a Session With Me

In our sessions together, my goal is to create a space where you feel safe, heard, understood, and accepted, while also feeling challenged to grow. Whether you’re facing challenges in your relationships, carrying the weight of past experiences, learning how to sit with big emotions, or simply trying to reconnect with yourself, I strive to meet you where you are with empathy, honesty, and a supportive nature.

I believe that therapy works best when it’s rooted in trust and connection. I take a person-centered approach, one that values you as the expert of your own story. Every person brings a unique story, strengths, and experiences, so I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Together, we'll explore what has shaped you, better understand patterns that may no longer be serving you, and identify practical tools that support meaningful change. Whether that’s talking things through, exploring patterns, or using creative, art-based interventions to support self-expression, we’ll find the path that fits you. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, make sense of your experiences, and become more connected to the person you want to be.

A Little Bit About Me

I grew up in the suburbs of Richmond and moved to the city for college, and I’ve loved calling it home ever since. There’s something about the city’s diversity and energy that brings me joy, from the local restaurants and cozy coffee shops to afternoons by the James River and the unique, vibrant people who make this place so special. Outside of sessions, you can usually find me silversmithing at my jeweler’s bench, taking a nap with my cat, or diving into my next creative hobby.
No matter where you are on your healing journey, I look forward to walking alongside you.
