What to Expect in a Session With Me
When you work with me, you can expect a space that is flexible, compassionate, and tailored specifically to you. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy—people are complex, and your treatment should honor that. I take a holistic, person-centered perspective, considering all parts of your experience rather than focusing solely on symptoms.
I use an eclectic blend of therapeutic approaches based on what best fits your needs. This often includes IFS-informed parts work, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT-informed skills, mindfulness practices, and other evidence-based modalities. I also bring specialized training in EMDR and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) to support clients working through trauma.
I’ve been in the mental health field for over five years, and my goal is to make therapy feel grounded, collaborative, and genuinely supportive. And as an added bonus—my cat may occasionally make a surprise appearance to say hello!
I’m looking forward to meeting you and walking with you on your healing journey.
A Little About Me
I have always been the person who’s favorite thing to do is curl up on the couch with a good book and a cozy blanket. My ultimate dream is to have a Beauty and the Beast style library, but for now I’ll settle with my thrifted bookshelves that are too full for their own good. When I’m not home reading, I’m usually at a concert! I ended up in the Richmond area because I found myself traveling here so often to catch the next show so it just made sense to stick around. I love finding ways to incorporate music into therapy and am always open for recommendations!
