What to Expect in a Session With Me
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in compassion. I believe you are the expert of your own life, so my goal is to meet you where you are and provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel genuinely heard.
Together, we will process your thoughts, emotions, and experiences through a holistic lens. We will also explore areas of growth and find an approach that fits your individual needs and goals. Whether you are navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, or major life changes, all parts of your story are welcome here. I may incorporate mindfulness techniques into sessions to help you ground in the present moment, regulate your nervous system, and build resilience. My goal is to support your overall well-being so you can live a deeply authentic and meaningful life. I look forward to walking alongside you as you explore, grow, and develop greater self-understanding!
A Little Bit About Me
Born and raised in Virginia, I am pursuing my master’s degree in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling at Virginia Commonwealth University. My path to counseling grew from years of community work, teaching, and mentorship. My background includes supporting children, adolescents, and families, with a dedicated focus on Spanish-speaking youth and individuals with disabilities. These experiences drive my passion for providing accessible, culturally responsive care tailored to each client’s unique story.
Outside of sessions, you might find me reading, writing music, practicing yoga, and enjoying a matcha on my front porch. I’m glad you are here, and I’m excited to go on this journey with you!
