What to Expect in a Session With Me

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and my goal is to make that step feel a little less intimidating. I offer a space where you don’t have to have the perfect words or a clear plan, just a willingness to show up as you are. Together, we can make sense of what’s been weighing on you and explore what healing might look like at your own pace. My approach is collaborative and rooted in the belief that healing looks different for everyone. I bring authenticity, care, and curiosity into each session, and I see therapy as a place where growth doesn’t have to be polished, it just has to be honest.

My background includes using harm reduction strategies, trauma-informed care, and a person-centered approach in both individual and community-based settings. I hold a B.A in Psychology and I am pursuing my MSW from VCU.  I’ve supported clients in all walks of life that were navigating chronic health conditions, major life transitions, housing instability, and emotional overwhelm, as well as systemic trauma. These experiences have deepened my respect for the resilience people carry and the importance of meeting them where they are.
