My sessions are based in Polyvagal and Attachment theory, utilizing techniques such as EMDR, Internal Family Systems (parts work), somatic practices, and clinical hypnosis. Whether you're managing anxiety and depression, healing from trauma, or navigating some other challenge, I am here to support you every step of the way.

Hi, I'm Jacquie! Through pursuing various person-centered career paths (it took me a few tries), I found my calling as a therapist. In 2023, I earned my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from William & Mary, specializing in military and veteran care. My journey to becoming a therapist has been guided by a commitment to myself, creating meaningful connections, and supporting those who feel a bit lost or ungrounding like I once did. I find fulfillment in working with adolescents and adults, supporting them as they develop tools to grow through life’s challenges and uncover new aspects of themselves.

 

One of my main values is that learning never ends, and I practice that by continually exploring my curiosity and passion around trauma-focused care. At this time, I only see clients via telehealth as I do not live in the state of Virginia due to my partner being in the military. Outside of my counseling practice, you'll often find me curled up with a fantasy novel and my cats, adventuring with loved ones, or visiting my latest favorite coffee shop.
